The historic village of Almondbury is situated 2.5 Miles Southeast of the Huddersfield Town Centre.

One of the most historic parts of the Huddersfield area, the conservation village of Almondbury is situated approximately 2½ miles to the Southeast of the Huddersfield town centre and lies close to the ironage monument of Castle Hill. Almondbury has several notable buildings, including the 16th century Wormald's Hall, now the village Conservative club, and All Hallows Church. The village also has a wide range of local amenities and is close to popular walking areas in the countryside around Castle Hill.
